Emmanuel Fellowship Church is a non-affiliated Christian Church in Akron, Ohio, founded on March 16, 1986. The aim of this church to be an agent of God for bringing all people to a more complete knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and to provide fellowship for all those who come within its doors. The goal of this church is to reach out to help and provide for people in need in every way possible.

Our worship experiences are Christ centered, include weekly communion, and are uplifting.

What denomination is EFC?

Emmanuel Fellowship Church is an open and affirming Christian Community. Our Pastor T.M. Hines was affirmed and ordained by the congregation of EFC in the presence of the Holy Spirit and is found to be in good standing according to the precepts of the Gospel of Christ Jesus. She has her B.A. in Sociology from University of Akron, her M.A. in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Seminary and is currently going for her Doctorate of Ministry in Spiritual Formation.

What is the dress code?

Typically, we dress in neat, casual clothes. For holy days and special services, we tend to dress up a bit more. We ask only that clothing be respectful of the worship space.

Who attends worship at EFC?

Our family of faith is open, affirming, and inclusive. All who are on the Christian journey are invited to worship with us.
